So, I hit 50lbs lost in my most recent phase yesterday. Turns out I also had 175 day logging streak. Turns out 175 days is exactly 25 weeks.

Boom! 2lbs/week, and in no way linear, lol.

By the by I am a 40yo female with about another 100lbs to lose, no more menses (about 14months out from a hysterectomy).

Congrats, sounds like you are doing great! Keep up the good work! :)

I’ve been in maintenance over 6 years now. It took me 300 days to lose 43 lbs. That averages out to almost exactly a pound a week although it sure didn’t go that way IRL. Some weeks I lost nothing, some weeks I lost 1 lb, sometimes after a really long challenging hike I’d retain water for a few days then get a “whoosh” and lose 2-4 lbs. The important thing is to stay consistent, trust the processs and patience certainly is key!

I disagree with your post - maths is not fun ;)

But good you are reaching your goal at the pace you anticipate. :)

I'm in the "math is fun" camp and did not know that 175 days = 25 weeks. I did know that 175 = 7 x 25. Just another fun math fact I simply never stopped to think about :0

Your loss is impressive. Keep up the good work--whether it's losing more or maintaining.
