Keto flu

How do you know you are having it? I think I’m probably fighting it bc I feel foggy low energy tired and muscle tiredness. Which is not great for work I do it makes me have the feeling like I’m bonking after a long hike if that makes sense. I’m feeling hungry a lot I think bc my body wants use sugar as fuel. I don’t think I’m really hungry but I feel it after every meal within 2 hours. So I thought maybe it’s part of keto flu?

Sound like you're entering ketosis. Everyone responds differently. I was already doing low carbs before I started so that helped. For me the keto flu lasted for a few days. It was a challenge to fight through it. I was fatigued, irritable and lacked motivation.

Keto flu is nothing more or less than electrolyte imbalance. All your symptoms support this.

Ketosis requires more electrolytes as the biological process excretes sodium with the water that is shed. That means your body has less on hand to work with. Keto dieters often require 3000-5000mg of sodium daily. Once the body's sodium is topped up, the body will begin to restore potassium, as low sodium causes the body to start leeching potassium, too. Salting your food can help, but really the best way is to either drink salty broth or bouillon or to make what I call ketoade (1/4 tsp salt, 8-12oz water, water flavoring like Mio or Crystal Light, and an optional dash or 2 of a potassium salt like No Salt. Mix and drink.) Or if you can't be bothered you can use sugar free Powerade or Gatorade, but they have a lot less electrolytes in them. Way too few, IMO.
