Hi everyone. I am a user of My Net Diary which I've used for years but my doctor recommended this app so I've started using since yesterday. It doesn't have a glucose tracker and that's a major downside. On the positive side, you guys do have an impressive food database. Hoping to stay on this semi-health kick through Coronavirus, and with kids, bored out of their gore, and out of school

My kiddo has grown up and left the nest already but if I were in your situation I’d include my kids in my health routine... perhaps everyone go out for a walk, a hike, a day in the park. Have them keep a journal of the activities they are doing in this strange and future historical time we are living in. It’ll give them something to show off at school or to family and friends later on. Draw pictures of what you see on nature walks or local landmarks, really get to know the town or city you live in. Cook together! Teach the kids how to prepare delicious and nutritious meals, experiment and try fun new recipes you’ve never cooked before. Write the recipes and results down in their journals, have everyone take turns picking a new recipe each day and see how they turn out. Pack up a picnic and spend the day exploring somewhere new. Write in the journal about the places you want to visit someday and what you’d like to do when you get there. Have them help you do “spring cleaning” around the house/garage teach them how to organize, do laundry, inventory a pantry, organize their wardrobe/toys, wash the car, etc these are essential skills they will use for the rest of their daily lives and they will enjoy helping out. Ride bikes in the park together. Simply going out for a walk will do wonders, kids have a lot of energy and the more they are able to move around physically the better and you will get some exercise too which is always a plus. Just a few ideas, do whatever works best for your family/schedule of course :) Good luck! :)
