I ate some braised pork belly today from my local Japanese restaurant. However, I can't find the entry on the USDA database. Anyone have the answer?

There are numerous entries in the database for pork belly and braised pork belly. When you eat at a restaurant, you kind of have to use your best judgement. Fatty meats are higher calorie. If I'm eating out a lot, I try to pick dishes I'm reasonably familiar with so I can make a better guess.2

Yup, it's definitely not low cal. What dish did you have? Kakuni (角煮)? If so, each 2" piece is probably about 220 calories, but it depends on how big the cut is, how much of the fat layer was left there, etc.1
