I husband just called, and he's craving pizza. Help please with a great low cal recipe. And he doesn't like veggies, he's a pepperoni or cheese kinda guy. Thanks everyone!!!0

if you're looking to buy, I've read that DOminoe's thin crust cheese pizza is the lowest calorie pizza out there in pizza world. Pair it with a garden salad and fat free dressing and you're pretty much set.0

Or, Papa Murphy's de lite pizzas....
I would just have separate pizzas, or even meals all together, then you're sure to stay within your calorie limit, and he's happy as well!0 -

Banks, I can't decide if you're a bigger nerd for saying that. . .or I'm a bigger nerd for getting it.

I prefer the term Geek thank you (I also accept Dork in a pinch)!
Heh, let's just call it even and wallow in our own crapulence!

Get some whole wheat pitas. Slice some tomato thinly. Put 2-3 slices of tomato on each pita. Then get either shredded mozzarella, or a ball of mozzarella and slice yourself. Cover the tomato.
Sprinkle with oregano, a tiny pinch of salt (to bring out the tomato flavor), and garlic. Bake at 200 degrees or until the cheese gets melty. You can also mixrowave but they'll most likely get soggy0 -
Do you want to make it an event that you and your husband can romantically share together? Well, make your own! You can pick up pita bread, and it comes in whole wheat now so it's very nutricious. Pick up a few veggies--green pepper, black olives, fresh tomatoes, or whatever you like! You can find low sodium tomatoe paste to spread on the pita, and then add the fresh veggies and whatever meats you like--chicken breast chunks (if you grill it yourself, it's all the better!!!), lean beef slices, and you can even put turkey on pizza! Canadian bacon is a great alternative for regular bacon! And then top it all off with low fat shredded mozzerella! Pair it with a salad, and a nice red wine and you're set for an evening of good food and romantic time spent together!
Happy eating! :happy:0
