Question: Breaking up workout

Recently I’ve been working from home and have been splitting up my workout over the course of the day instead of spending 1 hr devoted to working out. Mostly dumbell weights and body weight exercises. I’ll take frequent breaks and do one set of 3 exercises which is about 5 mins and then go back to work. Is this as effective as just doing the workout all at once?

Not an expert but I’d think the main drawback is jumping into it without warmup and cool down if you’re doing heavy lifting.
If you were incorporating cardio then it’s better to do it all at once to keep the heart rate going.
Bottom line is that exercise however you do it is better than no exercise.0 -
Lol. The first thing that came to mind was a workout after a break up😂1
