Creating an exercise space / gym under quarantine

Your mistake was democracy. I told my family it was going to be outside on the deck, and we just stacked the furniture out of the way. We now have CrossFit equipment that my son borrowed from his gym, gym and yoga mats, 3 sets of hand weights, weighted hula hoops, and potentially a treadmill If I can be bothered to move it. My daughter did her dancing class out there on Zoom yesterday.
Our biggest issue is the pets, who like to lie on the mats...4 -
Phase 1 complete - definitely just an exercise space. My son claimed a cough yesterday and shut himself away with the rest of the weights and we don't have room for anything else. Let's see how long before it gets used!Now what to do with everything I had in there!

heck clearing all of that was probably a huge workout in and of itself! It looks great and you have a window!!!! I'm jealous of all the gains youre going to get there.1

Dining room/kitchen area. Shove table back to the wall, move chairs away, bring in weights and throw down yoga mat. Cardio is walking outside.1

Phase 2 complete - the bar is open! To be honest doing it on my own is much quicker and it was a good workout 😊1

The bar now has a beer fridge - essentials and all that. Now for todays project...0

Didn't get to finish it all today, good progress made and the children will still say they are bored tomorrow!
