My name is Vicki, 47 and now repeating my predictable cycle of strict weightloss and exercise until I reach my goal .
Then, most likely I will throw in the towel and binge until I blow out and need to start again.
I desperately need a change of mindset..
Anyone else like me?
Would love some accountability buddies who want to change their mindset too 😍

Most people who yo-yo are making weight loss more difficult than it needs to be,then they rebel as soon as they get to goal. Pick a reasonable rate, like 1 lb per week. Eat foods you like. Be more active, however you enjoy.
All you need to lose weight is a calorie deficit. Any other rules you set for yourself should make that easier.

This is my third time around to lose 50+ lbs and it’s been about 2 years. I’ve been losing it slowly and started by just logging my food and trying to stay at around 2k calories. I lost about 50lbs. My doctor suggested I add exercise so I stated walking a few months ago and now I’m down 85lbs. I the first time I did low carb about 15 years ago. I lost a lot, but I didn’t stick with it I think because it was too restrictive. Now I don’t really deny myself any specific foods, but just try not to eat too much. I generally try to eat healthy foods.3

It sounds like you've got the hard bit down though! I'm not very yo-yo as I tend to fkind things difficult to stick to. I'm trying the slow and steady approach and hoping that it will stick!1
