My first day on the app

Hoping I can take advantage of this down time with COVID and truly, truly stay consistent with dieting/exercise again. So far this app has made me make good, although tough, eating choices tonight.
Any tips/tricks/pointers please send them my way. I'm a father of 3 kids, former pro athlete, that has gotten WAY out of shape. I have a terrible knee amongst other joint damage so I'm hoping by losing about 25 lbs of bad weight will help ease the pain.
Would love to connect with other motivated people so we can push each other daily.
Cheers to making good choices!
Chris
