Saw this today! I get bored doing the same 3 laps in my neighborhood in 20/30 minutes, I can’t imagine HOURS of back and forth! (Oh my knees and ankles!) But neat to see!

The back and forth over weird backyard terrain must be even more exhausting than a regular marathon even. Anyone remember the beep test in school? Hated that, way more exhausting than running a mile.

Some folks have true discipline! And I thought the folks who train for marathons on a treadmill during icy months were disciplined.
I have a large condo complex to run around in early before people wake up.

I've ran a half marathon distance on my treadmill so running a full marathon in someone's backyard doesn't seem that far-fetched, but my back yard isn't exactly ideal even though it's bigger (longer) than 6m.
