My family and I are doing a homemade afternoon tea tomorrow because our trip for one member’s birthday was cancelled due to the pandemic. We’re having homemade scones with jam and whipped cream, cakes etc. This probably sounds like a stupid question, but we’ve got a pot of heavy cream to whip ourselves- to track it would a tbsp of the cream before it’s whipped be equal in calories to a tbsp of it when it’s whipped?

No, the volume will change. Weigh the cream, the number of calories will be the same per weight unit before and after whipping.3
