Not sure how to create a new food lifestyle

I ended up in the ER recently and turns out I have diverticulitis. I take probiotics, and I also have acid reflux. My husband has high blood pressure also. We’re trying to change our diets based on what we’re both dealing with and I feel like I have an overwhelming amount of different information and have no idea where to start. My doctor suggested keto and/or intermittent fasting but that was before I ended up in the ER. Any suggestions???
