    Air popped popcorn

    Great option. 😁

I see a big difference between air popper and using a stove top popper with a shot of Pam. I think it is the contact with the pan. But it does not have the texture of styrofoam which is a problem with Air poppers.

And, try the skinnypop mini popcorn cakes with sea salt. They are not to far off air popped calorie wise.

Since you're new: I'm hoping you're not thinking it's necessary to hit your macronutrient goals exactly? (Carbs are particularly flexible, unless you're diabetic/insulin resistant (may need to limit carbs) or an endurance athlete (may need extra carbs for energy). It's good to be close to your protein and fat goals (and OK to be over), though that's for nutrition, not weight management.

Weight is pretty much all about calories (but poor nutrition can cause fatigue or lead to not feeling full, so affect weight management indirectly in the longer run).

If you hit your calorie goal, and are close on macros (a little over one day, a little under the next, especially), everything is fine.

    That said:

Hard candy is close to pure carb. White rice is mostly carbs (tiny fat, protein), ditto regular white pasta. Beans like navy beans, kidney beans, etc., have some decent protein, a good bit of carbs, very little fat. So, for a meal, beans and rice could be good. A lot of veggies have way more carbs than protein or fats (carrots, corn, etc.), as do fruits (apples, oranges, berries, etc.).
