Does your body get used to taking in fewer calories after a while? I feel like my body craves food all the time since I’ve started counting calories.

There can be an adjustment period, maybe a couple of weeks, to get used to new habits.

Or, one can experiment to see if different food choices, or meal/snack timing, result in feeling less hungry, or hungry less often. (Different people find different foods filling, or different schedules more satisfying: It's quite individual. Some find fat filling, some find protein filling, some find volume (such as high-fiber low-calorie veggies) filling, some find particular individual foods especially filling. Carbs make some people have more cravings, but other people feel more full. And people report feeling less hungry on anything from one big meal per day, to something more like all-day light grazing. So, each person needs to try things, log, think about how they feel, and find their personal happy patterns).

A final factor is that sometimes people choose the "lose 2 pounds a week" target when they set up their MFP profile, when they would struggle less (therefore succeed more) if they did a slower but less difficult loss rate. Also, it's common for people to set themselves up as sedentary/not very active, when in fact their daily life is more active than that, so their calorie goal is too low to be satiating. Another common error is not eating back at least a reasonable fraction of exercise calories, so underfueling that way.

Any or all of these things could be true for you, in theory. Think it over?

    Best wishes!
