Food is just fuel - need support

I love food. I have to constantly fight the urge to overeat. Since I started dating my boyfriend, I've put on 20 lbs because he eats constantly, and I always feel the need to eat with him. This is a 2-fold problem. 1) weight gain (obvious), but 2) I have health issues that are exacerbated by all sorts of foods that I love. I'm having such a hard time sticking to the foods my doctor recommended because the things I enjoy are on the no-no list. I need help remembering food is just fuel, and I only need enough fuel to get from point A to B and no more. I want to drop the 20 AND feel better physically. Anyone else want to help me stay accountable? To not feel so alone in this? Please add me!
