Tell me why I can succeed

I have never been consistent with a food diary. I feel I used to be able to pull myself up by the bootstraps but getting older and a couple of brain surgeries I don’t seem to have that obsessive motivation. For me I have to believe dropping weight is a reality.

You've had surgeries, I'm sure you followed doctors' orders when recovering

Just think of this as recovering. Recovering from an unhealthy lifestyle maybe? You just need to get into a groove. It has to become a habit.

The science is the science. No one else can make you believe it or convince you to do it nor is that anyone else's job. If you want convincing, look up calorie control and weight loss on PubMed. Lot's of people have done it and many also fail. The choices and responsibilities for this in your life belong to you.
