Is it okay to be really in a deficit? I eat a lot of low calorie, high protein foods that keep me full. At the end of the day I'm at almost 1000 calories left. I'm not starving myself I just dont feel the need to eat a bunch more. Is this okay?

For many people, a 1,000 calorie deficit would be too much.

If you mean you're 1,000 under your MFP goal and your MFP goal is already putting you at a deficit (which it is, if your goal is set to weight loss), then your deficit is almost certainly too large.

"Being full" isn't a sign that your nutritional needs are being met. A 1,000+ calorie deficit makes it very hard to consistently get what you need. And if you stick with it for too long, you're putting yourself at risk for all the side effects of rapid weight loss.

If choosing low calorie/high protein foods makes it impossible for you to eat enough, then you'll want to tweak your diet so that it is possible for you to eat what you need. Another consideration is whether or not you're accurately measuring what you eat. Many people think they're eating less than they are because their method of estimating calorie intake is inaccurate.
