Coming to the end of week 1 of my journey, and honestly I’m feeling strong mentally, physically not so much. What are some tips to keep going with my workouts/eating habits

If you are feeling weak or fatigued because of your new routine, I'd suggest seriously considering whether your calorie goal is too extreme, or you're working out too much for your current fitness level, or not fueling your exercise appropriately, or something like that.

Diet and exercise should not be so extreme that they make you feel physically bad.

Slower weight loss is sustainable for the pretty long time that losing meaningful amounts of weight is going to take. Many people can power through 5 pounds' loss or something tiny like that, but larger amounts are going to take time, so you need a routine that's easy to stick with. We lose more weight by losing it slowly at a routine we can stick with consistently, versus the "lose 5 pounds, regain 6, lose 3, regain 2, give up" nonsense that a lot of people do instead.

Same basic deal with exercise: Keep it a tiny bit challenging for your current fitness level, and increase the workout (duration, intensity, frequency or type of exercise) gradually and manageably as your fitness improves, so there's always a small challenge. Otherwise, if you go all out from day one, there's a higher chance of either giving up, or being so fatigued that you do less in everyday life (rest more/sleep more for example), and actually burn fewer calories than you expect. It's countproductive.

Slow, steady, easy, achievable weight loss works best for regular people in real life. Fast weight loss mostly only happens - and not in a healthy way - on stupid, exaggerated reality TV shows. (And most of those people regain later, too.)

    Best wishes!

    What @AnnPT77 said.

Also, if you remain below the misery line for too long it will almost certainly wear you down mentally too. It should not be hard each day. Some days will be hard. If every day is hard it is time to rethink your strategy.
