Hi there! I'm new to working out and eating healthy so i have some questions i would appreciate if someone could help me out with. I am female, 5'9", 21 years old and weigh 273, i have been eating roughly around 1250 a day (my goal is 1500 but I'm having difficultly getting there) and i exercise daily, elliptical 30 mins, walking 1 hour and my apple watch shows that with working out (and daily movement) i burn on average about 1100-1200 calories a day. I just want to know if this is healthy or not?

Because this is your first post, I'll ask: are you using a digital food scale? Do you weigh and measure everything correctly? To answer your question the data has to be fairly accurate. You have to know how many calories you're eating and how much you're burning with exercise. Being healthy and losing weight at a sustainable pace means a balance between the two. It'll take awhile to get it, so don't worry. However, if your calorie goal is 1500 you should hit that, and Ann gave you excellent ideas. Exercising will give you more and you need to eat those calories too. You need to eat as much as you can and still lose. Good luck.
