working out on 2 exercise machines?

I struggle to stay on the elliptical or treadmill for 30 mins, because i get tired of the same movement for so long and i get bored. I was thinking about switching up my workouts by switching back & forth from the elliptical & treadmill, and stay on each machine for 15 mins at a time and switch back & forth a couple of times till i have worked out for 45 - 60 mins. I think that would help me from getting bored and make my workout seem to go by quicker. Any opinions?

Could you listen to music, audio book, or watch TV while working out?

That’s what I do. I get bored easily too. When the gym was open, I’d hop on the rower for 20-30 minutes, do 10 minutes on the elliptical, then run on the treadmill for about 30 minutes.
At home, I do 20 minutes jump rope, then 20-30 minutes on the rower.
It’s all still cardio, just different ways to go about it. And it breaks up the monotony of just working out on one machine.

    Reasonable.

Try and see if you can adhere.

Can you do sports outside at the moment? I could never do anything on a treadmill or anything similar as it's so boring, but running outside makes me happy.
