Net vs Total Carbs?

Hello everyone,
Why do you think the all doesn't take into account net carbs vs total carbs? I believe the math behind that is fairly simple (just take total carbs and substract fibers) so not sure why it's not possible to view or even set net carbs vs total carbs goals.
Any way we could get around that?

Because very few countries label their foods the way your country does (total carbs) and this app is used globally.
When I log the foods sold in my country the labelling and food nutrition is net carbs.
Easiest solution is to select fibre as one of the things you track in your food diary and do the very simple maths.5 -
Net/total carbohydrates is only meaningful for a small subset of people.4

This is correct.
I would also note that we don't know what entries you are selecting or what country you are in (I've noticed people in the UK subtracting fiber from entries that were already net carbs, for example), so if you plan to subtract fiber be careful you are choosing US or Canadian entries (or those from other countries that may include fiber in carbs, if there are others).2 -

And remember that if net carbs are important to you in addition to personally verifying the calories of the database entries you use you will need to make sure the carbs and fiber information is correct as well.2
