Your video Doc is incorrect! Coffee is not good for you and does not reduce hunger! Let me introduce Dr. Joel Fuhrman and his book EAT FOR HEALTH.

no idea which video you are referring to - one by Dr Bubb, I take it, whoever he/she is?
Coffee (disclaimer: in sensible amounts, as per any food/drink) is neither good nor bad for you - unless you have a reason to avoid it, such as caffeine sensitivity.(and even then you could try decaffeinated)
What reduces hunger is very subjective - some people find a glass of water does that, others might find coffee does so.
I drink several cups of coffee per day - admittedly quite weak so probably equivalent to 2 cups of average strength.
I dont find it reduces hunger for me - but I am not drinking it with that intention, so thats ok.
I dont know what Dr Fuhlman says or why you would consider him the go to voice on what to eat.
I suggest anyone who doesnt know where to start on creating a healthy diet - look up your government guidelines or guidelines put out by a reputable organisation - like that of qualified dieticians10 -
Coffee - in moderation - is good for you. It contains antioxidents that are good for the body and a mild stimulant like caffeine can increase physical performance during workouts.
If you have medical issues like high blood pressure, you should consult with your personal physician about drinking coffee or other stimulants (not some internet wannabe).
For me, drinking coffee in the morning does curb my appetite - ymmv.
Joel Fuhrman is the WFPB fanatic (for the record).
edit to add - my morning coffee also greatly enhances the life expectancy of the people around me9 -
Coffee is good for me.

Coffee absolutely does reduce my hunger. Why would I deny my own lived experience because Joel Fuhrman says it isn't true?8

Just because it's in a book doesn't make it true. Coffee is useful--a real wakeup call. Good luck with your goals, whatever they may be.3

This is the only Bubs I trust

Actually a trick some bodybuilders will use is a 1mg nicotine patch with higher amounts of caffeine when in a hard cut. Coffee is just fine. Quit listening to Alan Goldhammers vegan propaganda..6
