A Year of Discipline...

My weight loss journey started when I peaked at 295 lbs. A year ago this week I walked my first 5k. This week in honor of the Boston Marathon (being postponed) I dedicated effort to powerwalk the length of the marathon 26.2 miles... M-F over the course of a week. Nothing earth-shattering. But not bad for a fat guy. Can't seem to break through the 220 lbs. mark for more than
a day or two though. But I'll keep trying. No longer pre-diabetic, off a handful of pills, feel mentally tougher and disciplined. Just felt like sharing today.

That's fantastic! Not bad at all for someone who has worked hard for a year ..and you have a lot to show for it.

Plateaus suck. You’ve built up the discipline over the past year though and soon you’ll break through. Congrats!
