How can there be 51 grams of fat in a homemade romaine lettuce salad with no dressing on it?

Not all entries in the database are accurate.
Sometimes people might make typos or just not care and put whatever value they want.
Mfps nutritional information is not written in stone, you need to be able to know what appropriate calories are for foods and an understanding of what you're eating. If your salad isnt coated in dressing or nuts or cheese or any other high fat food, then you know there really isnt 51g of fat

Perhaps whoever created the entry you found likes cheese with their salad?
Well done for questioning the database entry you found, that awareness will stand you in good stead when you find other bad entries such as chicken with no protein, sodium and salt being used as interchangeable, milligrams and grams being confused.....
