Hi guys, I’ve been healthy eating for a while now but found this app so decided to try out calorie counting. I’ve been doing it for a week and also started exercising every day, first on the exercise bike, then 3 different workout apps, and at night i walk the dog. I’ve been keeping under the calorie limit and usually have quite abit leftover. But I’ve weighed myself today and gained 2 pounds in a week, i know ive only been doing this properly for a week but I didn’t think i would gain 🙁

It's quite normal for your weight to fluctuate up as well as down, your bodyweight doesn't always reflect fat loss.

If you've just started exercising, likely you're retaining some water from that.

Consider using a trendweight app such as Happy Scale or Libra for a few weeks with daily weigh ins to understand how much your weight fluctuates and the reasons why.

A couple things. How are you measuring your food intake? Weighing food on a scale was a big eye opener for me. Also, new exercise regime can cause water weight gain...it has happened to me and then a couple days without exercise the weight would come back off.

Water weight from the new exercise. Check out this article, it explains it really well.
