I’m addicted!

I have a food addiction.
I’ve been losing weight consistently over the past few years first by portion control then adding in exercise. I then started replacing some of my food choices for healthier ones and late last year I was aided by Contrave.
I was loving myself and found the body confidence I never had.
But now I’m regaining and losing some of my progress.
I have to target my issues with food.
I want to be below 200 before September and I need help.

Tell me how you overcame?

I use a digital food scale and weigh and measure everything. It teaches portion control. MFP has a great setup. Get your daily calorie goal and just stay within it everyday. When you exercise, log it in and MFP will give you more calories that day. You can eat food you like--just within your goal. Good luck.

Welcome to MFP! What finally did it for me was watching my mom wither away from cancer, and thinking that if I were to become ill at my weight, there is no way my husband would be able to care for me in that state. I also decided to not rush the loss this time, but to do it slower so I can keep it off forever. So far so good, down a total of 28 pounds since Nov. And feeling so much better although not at goal. Baby steps!
