Hey, does anyone NOT weigh themselves?
I need to lose around 2 stone but i’m becoming a bit obsessive with the scales and really getting down when the numbers don’t go down as much as I would like! I was thinking of only weighing either once a fortnight or even once a month? Has this worked for anyone or am I at risk of not losing because I can’t see the numbers (if that makes sense). Thanks x

If it is really effecting you and disappointing you ,try once every 2 weeks. I would make sure to keep my calories, in a depicit. A lot of people have that same problem with the scale, obsessing over it and the number.

I accidentally broke my scales when I was halfway through an 80 pound weight loss...

I managed to lose the next 25 pounds without a scale and by then I was "over it." I needed a scale again and now it doesn't bother me about the numbers.

If you can look at it as a big science experiment, then the weight numbers are just data points.

If you use a weight trending app it also takes away some of that daily angst (so I hear: I don't use one, but people say that on here all the time.)

What helps me since I weigh every day, is that I don't really look at the trend of a day or 2 or even a week. I'm most focused on the trend over a month. But I weight daily because a month long trend with only 4 data points is not going to be very useful.
