I am in my recovery week of insanity and havent seen any inches off my waist. I have been reading comments on this fitnesspal website so I thought it would be a good idea to sign up. I am a college student so i spend most of my time sedentary. On top of insanity, I will ocassionally do another workout from brazilian butt lift within that day (ex: butt lift in a.m and insanity in evening). I am so frustrated and i have been reading comments about upping calories but i just cant bring myself to eat more calories. I typically dont eat a lot and im restarting my workouts after being off for about 2 yrs. Im so scared that if i increase my calories from what I typically eat then I will gain weight. I know my eating habits are 100% mental and i cant wrap my head around how eating 2775 calories (what myfitness pal recommends) is NOT going to make me gain weight! Thats a super high number compared to my typical eating habits. Also, when i do eat more than my typical day, like if i got out to eat at a resturaunt, I get super bloated even if i dont finish my whole mean, like my entire body I feel get bigger (stomach, arms) ..... everytime this happens im like wtf??

So i havent tracked my calories, but this is typically what i eat in a day: morning = 3 eggs + handful of spinach+ half roma tomato + thin slice of sharp cheddar cheese +shariachi sauce OR a cup of oatmeal +cinnamon+blueberries+ scoop of peanut butter+small amount of granola on top.....and ALWAYS a cup or two of coffee (no creamer).
afternoon (typically after my workout): a protein shake whey protein with water mix (160 calories)
dinner: fruit/veggies and peanut butter (either apple, banana, or celery sticks)
Every once in awhile I will eat food that I make for my family. Examples would be chicken and rice or pasta (a typical family meal)

can someone please assure me that im NOT going to gain weight if i eat more lol! Or maybe suggest where in my day I should eat more? Thanks!!!!

Go to TDEECalculator.net. Enter your gender, age, height and weight and it'll tell you how many calories are "break even" for you. Then you won't have to worry about that aspect of things anymore. It's accurate for most people.
Unless you track your calories you will never know how much you're actually eating.

We can't tell you cause there is no accurate way to calorie guess "a scoop of peanut butter"

Hey Kriss did you start over?
