Not a specific plug... but I'ma trying to purchase products made in the US.
It's not always easy, and US made products usually cost a bit more, but, now more than ever, it's the time to support your local businesses whenever you can.
The same can be said for our cousins in the UK and that other country up north.... what's their name again ?
Oh yeah.... Canada (love you guys.) Y'all support your local peeps too.7 -

Agreed. I'd love to find more replacements for products that are made overseas. Some things are easier to find than others.2 -
my 5 year old nutribullet died finally on a particularly very bad stressful day for me last week or so.
i ended up taking a hammer to it and cussing what was left of it as i threw it in the dumpster.
BUT
today i went to Walmart at like 7am this morning and found a brand new Nutribullet Balance model in the clearance section. it was originally 99 bucks. they had it marked as $49 though so i was like "yeah that's a deal" and i grabbed it and went to check out.
but when i scanned it, turns out it was even lower priced. they just hadn't changed the tag yet. $25 bucks.
and its a massively better model over my old one. has Bluetooth and a built in scale. and its 1200 watts instead of the 600 my old one was.
i debated on buying the other two that were sitting there to flip on ebay. but instead i hollered at some friends who i figured could use them instead and told them about the deal.9 -
That's awesome @iMago1

I do this when dining out - is much rather go to a mom and pop restaurant than a big box chain - fast food aside - but sitting down - 9/10 opt for local diners drive in or dives4 -

Oh big time... And the square center pieces 🤤...
I think they get a bad rap because it's only $5 so it's supposed to be not great...
But it's kinda like a Mcds cheeseburger... Yeah not gourmet or anything but, it just taste like childhood nostalgic I guess...

Agreed - however I’ll say Wendy’s in lieu of mcd’s simply because after watching the founder I refuse to eat there0 -

Wendy's is a little too fancy a counterpart for little Ceasers 😂... I can't remember when is the last time I had drive through, accept taco bell a few times, and in and out once or twice... Does habit burger count 🤔 lol
I only ever take my kid to McDonald's once in a while after soccer practice so I can steal some of his fries 😂0 -

I haven't set foot in a McDonalds in about 15 years.
The last time was on a nighttime, road trip thru the Nevada desert and it was the only thing open for 200 miles.
I regret it to this day.....2 -
