Hey everyone, I have a question

So let’s say a person eats 1400 cals and burn 100 from exercise and don’t eat that back. That person would have ate 1300 cals in total for that day?

A different person eats 1300 calories and burn 100 calories from exercise but that person eats backs the 100 cals. So does that mean In total that person ate 1300 cals for that day?

Is this the same thing? If not, Which method do you think is better?

    Yes, you’ve got it!
Neither one is better. They are the same.
The difference is, are you looking at it from the front or the back side. Lol. Or is the glass half full or half empty?
When I was actively losing, I chose to eat enough to lose 1 pound a week, or a 500 calorie cut per day.
Then I exercised up to an hour a day and didn’t eat the calories back. That would equal about 1000 calories cut, or 2 pounds a week lost, which was fine for my weight.
That way I knew I could always eat enough to stay full and still lose weight. I could lose a little faster by exercising a
    Reasonable amount.
That was the right attitude for me. Choose the right attitude for you.
