We got some swiss chalet ribs from the grocery store for dinner. It says 140g is 280 calories. How do I measure that out so I eat that portion without over eating?

Use a food scale.4

This is where a food scale will come in handy. Ribs vary in sizes.4

Does it say that on the packaging? If so, it probably says how many servings in the package. Divide it up.
140g is a very small amount of ribs. I'd guess two.4 -
Thanks everyone I'll definitely be getting a food scale0

Is it six for 140g?
I think those packages are a full rack. Seems like a half rack would be six ribs...which has to be more than 280 calories. I'd think six ribs with sauce would be more like 600-750.
So maybe 140g is 2-3....
What do I know? I'd eat the whole rack and never blink. And the loaded baked potato. And slaw.2 -
I think you're right about 2 or 3... honestly 140g is not a big portion and the meat is dense2

Ribs are very fatty, its unlikely to be 6 for 280 calories.1

Conversation of grams to cups calculater:

So 140 grams is about 1/2 a cup scrape off the meat into a 1/2 cup measuring cup. My guess is it will be one about one rib. Serving sizes are b.s and try to fool you into thinking a food has less calories in it then there is.
My thinking is:
Meat almost always high calorie if it has lots of fat on and in it, good energy source. If bingy pick this food to get full fast. But most meat serving sizes are the size of a deck of playing cards so be careful! Tiny!1 -
Google "Swiss chalet nutrition." It's on their website.0
