Hey everyone! Hope you are all healthy and well! I did the first month of Insanity about a month ago but was not satisfied, i had pretty much half-assed it diet was very meh. I decided to start over and im into my second week. From round 1 of month 1 I lost about 1 kg. (Im a male, 6ft 1, 102 kg). What i wanted to ask is that my particularly problematic area is my chest. I have a lot of fat on my chest and its always been embarrassing. I cant do enough regular pushups as required by the workout so i push myself with the ones on my knees. This time im very strict with my diet and no sugar or junk or anything. Can anyone advise if all this is enough to burn off fat off my chest and if not what else should i do. I don't really have access to any weights or anything due to the current situation. Id love some advice and insight! Thank you and stay safe!!!

You can't spot reduce.
Diet is for fat loss if done right (done wrong can include muscle mass).
Exercise is for heart health and body improvements.
Don't confuse the two.
Only thing exercise does for diet is allowing you to eat more since you did more - which may help you to adhere to it better.
But do eat more when you do it, too big a deficit and you'll find the body can't build up what was torn down, can't improve as much as it could, and workouts will start to suffer.
Will still feel like pushing as hard as you can, but that would be because of not recovering fully.
You may have experience where your fat happens to be lost or gained first, or you'll soon find out.
Since scale is not best measurement device for fat loss (since it includes water weight up and down) - get measurements in right now at the start.
But good workout to get some muscles strong under the fat so while it's leaving something can be seen.
When that pushup style gets too easy, up on knees, down on toes.
Eventually you'll do the whole time on the toes.1
