Jumping back

I stopped tracking what I was eating, and somehow maintained the weight I stopped at. But these past two weekends I jus let myself eat, I mean I didn’t over eat, I weight myself and I gained back 5lbs!! I was upset disappointed... I’m jumping back into this once again!! What motivates you? Seeing changes in your body? Energy? Or the scale lbs? ...

    I am motivated by my health. I was at the highest weight of my life and my BMI was in the obese category. I am almost 60 and my husband is 12 years older than me. Although my children are grown I want to live a long and quality independent life. I truly hated how I looked and felt. I have lost 60+ pounds and I have gained so much more. I am not at goal yet...but I know I will never allow my health to suffer again. If this requires me to log my food I will take the time and effort to do so. It is such a small price to pay for my physical and mental health. It is all about having a positive mindset!
