Toward Yesterday by Paul Anthony Jones. I read the first two books in his Extinction Point series over the weekend. I've been on an end of the world/dystopian society kick lately.

I just finished the Abhorsen series which I absolutely love. That's my 2nd time and I had forgotten a lot of the important stuff so it was almost as good as the first time :)

    Did you read Insurgent too?

I just got done with mortal instruments, looking for which book to read next! Probably will end up reading another James Patterson book. :)

I just finished the first book of the Century Trilogy by Ken Follet. It's called Fall of Giants. Very good book! I thought I had the 2nd book on my kobo but it turns out I don't, so now I'm reading Pillars of the Earth (also by Ken Follet). I'm really enjoying his style of writing.

Michael Crichton -- State of Fear. After this I am going to re-read the Dark Tower Series because I miss Roland.

Listening to Anathem by Neal Stephenson (I love to listen to audiobooks while I hike) and reading Finn's Golem by Gregg Taylor. I couldn't possibly pick favorite books or series- there are too many.

I'm reading "Lies My Teacher Told Me," but my favorite series is either the Sookie Stackhouse Series or Stephanie Plumb series.

Currently I'm reading "Seizing the Enigma: The Race to Break the German U-Boat Codes" Kind of a dry and academic style of writing, but pretty cool to read about everything that went into it.
Next, I'm rereading my favorite series: The Hitchhiker's Trilogy

I am rereading a series by Christine Feehan. The first book is "Mind Games" - there are ten or eleven books in the series. I have read the series a couple times and always enjoy the books. But then I enjoy all of her books.
The series is about genetically and psychically enhanced soldiers who are paired with enhanced women by a crazy scientist to creat a super race of enhanced people.

Darkly Dreaming Dexter. I've already watched the series (up to season 7, no spoliers!), so I figured I'd start with the books since after the first one the books and the series go off in two different directions. :)

Trying to catch up on half a year's worth of The Unwritten, but otherwise reading Moving Pictures by Terry Pratchett. Trying to slowly make my way through the Discworld series.
