13 down, 10 to go

I've adjusted my diet and exercise routine and took off 13 pounds in about two months. I've plateaued since then. It's pretty obvious that I have another 10 to go. I already feel hungry often and I'm working out every day - I've missed two days since I started my routine. Not sure how to get to my next target. Can someone give me some direction? Thanks, Ed

How long is "since then"
How many calories per day are you eating?
How many are you burning? Are you eating them back?
Are you weighing your food on a food scale? Using correct entries in the database? What's your age, weight, height?1 -
Hi Kriss,
How long is "since then" - a couple of weeks
Eating around 2,000 calories per day. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
Not sure of the calories burned, but I do body weight workouts, such as burpees, for about an hour every day. It's at least 500 calories per workout.
I'm not weighing food, but I'm tracking everything I eat.
I'm 46, 197 lbs., 6'2"
Thanks.0 -

A couple of weeks isnt really that long, most plateaus are about 6 weeks or more and are often the result of people eating more then they think. However the reason why its 6 weeks is because weight loss isnt linear and it's possible to go weeks without losing weight. In fact I spent 2 weeks at the same weight and I have much more to lose. In my previous weight loss, I spent a month at the same weight.
You didnt mention if you are eating back your workout calories. But is your guesstimation based on mfp? Or are you just pulling a number out of your head?
The reason why weighing food is important is because, let's say after 6 weeks you've still had no movement. That likely means that you are eating your maintenance and not in a deficit like you think you are. Weighing food is important at the last few lbs because the difference between loss and maintenance is a very fine line and a few incorrect guessing in logging can quickly chip away at that small margin. You need to be more focused and diligent with logging.
Also, weight loss slows down as you go down, honestly your 5lbs a month sounds way too aggressive, especially where you dont have much to lose from the get go.. you want to aim for .5lbs per week, and expect slow movement or no movement sometimes. Water weight can mask loss, and sometimes can take weeks to change and show results.

This^
It hasn't been long enough to be a plateau for certain.
If you are not weighing and tracking accurately, you don't really know how many calories your are eating.
You're approach is too aggressive for someone with only 10 lbs to lose and the last 10 require patience as it goes slow.0
