I need one ASAP but can’t seem to find one that’s got good reviews that’s affordable or doesn’t shatter out of the blue! 😖

These are hard to beat for the money:

I doubt that few (if any) home bathroom scales of any design (digital or analog) would pass any independent measurement testing for accuracy or reliability. The key is to just use the same scale to measure yourself each time, so that whatever inaccuracies in the scale are negated, so that you can track the "trend" even if the measurement # provided itself isn't all that precise. Same thing applies to those home bioelectrical BF measurement devices and blood pressure monitors.
I bought 2 digital Weight Watchers branded digital bathroom scales over 10 years ago that still work. They only cost about $20, which is about the going rate for digital bathroom scales. I'd just buy the "best" one based on the available reviews on AMZN and hope for the best. If it doesn't work as well as you like, you can easily return it to AMZN for an exchange or refund.
While individual reviews can be suspect, if the majority of reviews are 4 or 5 and there are a sufficient number of such reviews, the product is probably worth considering.
One website that I have found useful for the purpose of assessing the reliability of AMZN and other reviews is Fakespot.com. Just copy/paste the url for the product into Fakespot and it's give you an "rating" (from A to F) on whether the reviews for the product can be trusted or not. Any rating less than B probably shouldn't be trusted.
FWIW, Fakespot's rating of the link above is D.

I also have a WW digital scale. It seems very accurate. I've tested it with a 5lb dumbbell (scale reads 5lb) and I weigh myself and then myself with my puppy. Guess what? Puppy weighed exactly the same at the vet's office.0

Moosie, without knocking them the scales may be unreliable for a 5lb dumbbell without an attached Moosie. But with an attached Moosie you should be in the range where you would expect more valid data. Of course dumbbells are not always 5lbs... so there's that.
While I would have thought that Salter (as a more established brand) would not play around with reviews as much (the D given above), Renphro and EtekCity both "top sellers" and amazon.ca "recommended for body scales", got D reviews on the couple of products I checked.
And I have to say that my personal belief, based on the type of user reviews that I saw on the site, was that both were full of either fake reviews, or full of pay to play reviews (or whatever the "name" is when an "independent" person "buys" a product with their "own" money from Amazon, reviews it appropriately, and then gets a rebate check from the company substantially equal to what they paid for the product once the review has been verified).
But, whether the EtekCity reviews were fake, or not, i did get a https://www.amazon.ca/Pèse-personne-intelligent-composition-essentielles-lapplication/dp/B07FN8PD3Q/ref=sr_1_9?crid=282MR0M4WO696&dchild=1&keywords=scale+body+weight&qid=1590898787&sprefix=scale+,aps,202&sr=8-9 on Christmas Day since I had broken my version one Aria a few days before.
And for the money I paid (which was about CAD $29.99 at the time), I am quite happy. And the scale works fine.
If someone were to come in and steal my scale... I would buy it again even at the current price (which given the US-CAD exchange rate is actually only a little bit higher).
Local stores also tend to have scales in stock within similar price points, and you might even get to have a look before you buy!

I love the withings line, and have added a blood pressure cuff to it as well0
