I race my bicycle with a local club. Last Saturday, I won a race. I've won races before, but this one was about twice as long and had lots of hills. It's much easier to get up those hills without extra fat to carry up them. You couldn't wipe the smile off my face all night. Nothing tastes as good as winning...

By way of background, I've lost about 6kg since starting MFP in June. A change of work environment and a holiday earlier in the year meant I was about 5kg heavier than I preferred and it was hurting my racing and some another huge cycling challenge I've got coming up. 7-8 years ago I lost 60kg by calorie counting alone (a Weight Watchers at home type program), before I got into cycling. I feel great!
