Just hit the 280 pounds and I’m scared

I always thought there would be a moment where I’d be able to control my weight and that eventually I’d be skinny but this morning I weighed in and 280.2 showed up. I’m extremely freaked out and I don’t know if I can do this anymore. Seems imposible but I need to do this. I don’t wanna die nor gain more weight 😞 send your best advice on how to get me focus on this goal and dieting/exercising tips.

Slow and steady is the best approach.
Start by using mfp and let that help calculate your calories. Set your weight loss, and activity level without any exercise. MFP is designed for you to eat back your exercise calories. Log your food. A food scale might also help. For me it also helps to break my weight loss into smaller goals. My highest weight was 225 my goal weight it 135-140. My first goal get under 200. Next goal 180, that gets me out of the obese category, and so on. Try to avoid fad diets and gimmicks.

I'm just going for 10 pounds a month. Don't think about all the weight just concentrate on losing 10 pounds a month. I'm off to a great start I've already lost 7 pounds in 4 days. Hopefully by next week I will have lost my first 10 pounds🤔1
