Calories in vs. Calories out??

I have always had trouble with feeling hungry. I don't like it so my strategy is to eat calorie light high fiber foods. I've lost about 30 lbs with that strategy with only light excercise because of my joint issues. I can snack all day and lose weight all while boosting my healthy gut bacteria and eating all the antioxidants.0

@SleepMoveEatRepeat
It definitely slows down weight loss but it slows it back down to a manageable and healthy rate. There are days that if I didn't eat back exercise calories I would be netting zero calories which means I was basically fasting that day. Too many days of that or close to it and I would be extremely sick or my hunger would overwhelm me and I would binge.2 -

You found Garmin's correct field for TDEE alright, since they don't use that term, and have several flakey figures starting with RMR?
What tracker do you prefer for getting your TDEE?
You can use Garmin, if you like. It's likely to be as accurate as any similar device (they all estimate calories, they don't measure them).
It's just that Garmin (in Connect or on the device) doesn't label it TDEE. Without getting super nuanced about where to look, your all-day calorie total at the end of the day (labeled "Calories") is your TDEE for that day. Averaging that number over multiple days (as it does in the basic "Last 7 Days" display) gives you your average TDEE over whatever time period is averaged.
Garmin has some other stuff that people mistake for TDEE, but labeled things like "Adjusted Calories" and I forget what all else - I'm sure heybales is correct that some of those things have RMR in the label, because he's the expert on this stuff).2 -

Garmin - since I have a FR310XT for workouts it makes the syncing of them easier into account with VF already handling the daily stuff.
I asked because another topic was touching on the GC app having some fields hidden by default and needing to enable them to get the desired TDEE figure, and online I'm not finding a nice report for that TDEE either. Have to visit each day to see it. Annoying for doing your own spreadsheet.1 -

Honestly? Personal data collecting.3
