I been trying the one meal a day for the week but I might be doing it wrong. I feel quit sick after and very uncomfortable ...almost in pain.I stop eating around7:30 pm and the next day I eat at 4:30-7pm. I try eating around 1200 cal but I’m more comfortable around 800. Any tips would be appreciated.

Maybe one meal a day isn't for you. Maybe have a 200 cal breakfast and a 200 cal lunch and then an 800 cal dinner.

    This.
Or one 400 and one 800. Or two 600.

OMAD is an extreme eating strategy. If you feel sick doing it, and you can't eat enough calories, then it's simply not right for you.

If you have reason to think some kind of restricted time eating strategy will benefit you, why not start with a less extreme window? Get the hang of that first, then you can try to shorten the window in small steps if you want. So start with 16:8, and once that's easy maybe try 18:6.

Whatever your goals are, one meal a day isn't necessary. You should only do it if it makes your progress easier.

And no one should be eating only 800 calories per day, your body needs fuel and 1200 is the minimum for women, 1500 for men.
