I know the total #I am trying to hit but I set a smaller # of 25 lbs to lose. I hit that goal now I want to set another goal of 25lbs. Do I set a time to reach this goal? If so should I do a mini goal each week?

What works best? TIA.

I'm not a fan of setting a time limit on weight loss. The body will lose at its own pace and weight fluctuates too much to set goals for week to week loss. Having a time frame in mind always frustrated me more than helping me.

Look at the long term picture, take measurements, and focus on meeting your calorie and exercise goals week to week instead of the number on the scale.

I was well into my diet before I thought to set a goal.
Then, very arbitrarily, I decided that my goal was to lose
1/4 of my maximum weight. It took me about five more
years to reach that goal. So, no, I don't think you need
to set mini goals or time limits.
