What do you treat yourself with, when you hit a weight loss target?
I've just bought a ring off Etsy I've been eyeing up for months to give myself at 10lbs down. I did something similar last year, bought a necklace after losing 10lbs and it reminds me that it can be done. When the ring arrives, I'm giving it to my mum to look after for a couple of months until I hit my target.

I do something similar
I give myself a reward for every significant milestone. Doesn't have to be big or expensive, but its nice to have that extra little motivator!2 -
When I went from obese to overweight, I bought myself a Garmin Vivoactive watch to replace the basic activity tracker I had.
Otherwise just new clothes and sports clothes, but not for specific goals, just something I buy when needed.
PS I'd watch out with buying rings, I've 'shrunk' out of many of my rings I used to wear when I was still obese1 -
Vintage/upgraded clothes, allow myself to use my Sephora VIB points, do something experiential like road trip, spa day, etc. With the pandemic waves, however, this last one may need to be reimagined.4

I reward myself with gaining weight again ... On purpose of course. Either a bulk, or a pregnancy seems to be the trend so far. I just had a baby so I'm going to run another bulk when I get to goal this time4

My reward is fitting into my clothes or fitting into new smaller clothes. I don't use the scale much.. I have my shorts that fit perfectly for two years laying out..and I try them on every day or every other day. It keeps me on track..and when they fit.. I just can't wait.1

Usually clothing. Often tattoos. After I have my baby in August, when I get back down to pre-pregnancy weight I am going to reward myself with getting my belly button or nose pierced.3

I reward myself for habits (I use habitica to track with "coins" but I kind of do the same thing. Usually I reward myself with kpop albums, haha.3

I like to reward myself with clothing which is usually also something I need because my old ones are to big. Also going out in my new clothes!3

Mostly, weight loss was its own reward, given the NSVs along the way . . . especially reversals of high blood pressure and high cholesterol, reductions in knee pain. But something someone said about buying a new bike when he reached goal weight made me realize I would've had an excuse to buy another boat, if only I'd thought of it at the time.
Mostly kidding around, above (mostly ): Experience rewards are good, IMO, like concerts, plays, trips, etc.
To me - no kidding this time - having to buy new clothes was more of a penalty than reward. I hate clothes shopping.2 -
I love setting weightloss rewards. I have lesser rewards for smaller increments and larger rewards for bigger milestones. I also set rewards for maintaining 6mo and a year and bonuses for reaching goals by a certain date.
Some rewards I am planning (or would have planned if I had more weight to lose): rollerskates, bike, air-frier, tattoo, new glasses, road trip, curtains, shoes, $X for clothes, new phone (mine seriously needs replaced!), closet "shopping sprees"3 -
I don't like rewarding myself for weight management. I did celebrate some milestones... with food lol. Well, not exactly food. It was a whole experience of going out, activities, a movie, and food. One time was a shopping spree because I didn't have clothes. Like Ann, I hate shopping, so I tried to make the experience better and celebrated... with food. I enjoy celebrating with food and I'm not ashamed of it.3

I'm definitely very 'material' motivated. My Amazon wishlist is full of stuff, but I feel I have to 'earn' them. I used to do 'if I lose 5 pounds, I'll reward myself with x' but I found I never reached those increments because I'd say any weight I lost was just water weight. After saying that a few times I'd get discouraged and never reach any goals. So I tried changing my mentality- if I am under calories for thirty days I can reward myself. Two weeks in and I feel a lot better mentally about the process, plus I have a tangible day that my goal can be reached.
Sure, the goal item isn't expensive, but I know if it wasn't there I'd be a lot less likely to stick to my goal. My goal after my thirty day one is my 68 day one (this was my previous longest streak) and that one I already planned on treating myself to boots I've been eyeing for a while now.3
