Workout and Dinner times

I get home from work around 5:30 pm. I usually work out first then I cook dinner which puts me eating around 8pm. Very slowly I can tell my clothes are getting looser but I'm wondering if I would have better results if I cooked and ate first, let it digest, then worked out so I don't have so much food on my stomach late in the evening. Or would it be too hard to workout after eating a full meal? Any thoughts?

The order you do those in won't make a difference to your rate of loss. It will only be more or less comfortable for you - sounds like you have a good routine going so no need to mess with it except for if it's inconvenient. One thing to consider is some people find that exercising right before trying to go to bed keeps them awake.8

I have my food on the stove (or at least half way prepped) while doing evening workouts. That way, I'm either eating immediately after I train or within 15-20 min tops lest I get hangry3

I find it difficult to work out on a full stomach, so would have to do it pretty late in the evening. That would likely interfere with sleep. If you don't mind eating at 8 p.m. then continue to do it. When you eat makes no difference to your weight.3

Exactly this. I would have to wait for dinner to digest-then workout. Which would then take quite some time to calm down from so I could sleep.
FWIW-8PM would be a relatively early dinner for me and I’ve lost weight just fine.4
