This is a six part series but I thoroughly enjoyed this segment 5 All six episodes can be found on you tube..
It puts volunteers and scientist to the test looking at water consumption, detox diets, wine , tomatoes and skin benefits, eyesight spinach , Fruits and memory.

The detox diet , supposedly to cleanse your liver , had little impact on the body other than to make the volunteers hungry and cranky while undergoing the regime. The end result is that the control group, who had access to all types of food , results came out the same as the detox when their urine samples were compared.
According to the scientist who participated in the study, The liver is designed to detox , and people who believe juicing and watering it have a simple understanding of how the body works .
