Body Confidence

I am super confident usually but from putting weight on I seem to have fallen out of love with myself and wondered if anyone has any inspiration towards body confidence?

I think as your journey with MFP progresses and you start to see the changes in your body, you feel better and clothes look and feel better on you, that is when your confidence starts to grow again. You start to get compliments from people when they notice and that is also a confidence boost.1

For me - and I admit, in some ways I'm a weirdo, so who knows if this works for others - body confidence is more about what my body can do, what I can help it learn to do, like being a little stronger, or a little more flexible, or a little faster, or something like that. How it looks is not as meaningful. Even when my body was fat, obese, I found that it could do surprisingly cool things, if I worked patiently at them. When I lost back down to a healthy weight, it could do even more.
For me, things like this are body confidence:
That's Cheryl Haworth, an Olympic medalist.
That's Ernestine Shepard, at about age 80 or 81, who started bodybuilding at age 56.
To me, that's the kind of thing that represents body confidence.
Cute is pretty fleeting, but bad*ss is bad*ss as long as we keep doing.
YMMV.6
