Hi, I am new here. MFP has set my daily calorie goal to 1200. I want to change it but it appears that the system doesn't let me. I dont want this calorie goal. Can anyone help?

What do you want to change it to?
You can select a calorie goal manually (or get a higher goal choosing a slower weight loss rate) but MFP doesn't allow calorie goals lower than 1200 for women, to ensure adequate nutrition.3 -
Hi thnx for your response. Just before i read this i managed to change it and it worked! It's wierd as i am pretty sure that i tried the same action before to change it and it never worked.0

Don't go below 1200. That's the absolute minimum women should be eating as less is not healthy, Your body needs proper nutrition to stay alive. Thus don't deprive it of that.1

No i wasn't wanting to go under 1200... i wanted to go over7

Ok, then there are two ways on the website, not sure where to look on the app:
a) decrease your loss goal per week: home -> goals -> view guided setup
b) just use a custom goal > goals -> Daily Nutrition Goals, Edit. Put the calories there that you want to eat.0
