I am looking to buy frozen chicken strips easy to add to salads and my rice bowls. I found some with no soy. This is the list of ingredients:
Chicken, Water, Modified corn starch, Yeast extract, Sodium phosphate, Salt, Citrus extract.

Are the ingredients okay. Thanks

Looks fine to me, as long as there isn't anything on there that would cause you an issue - allergies etc.

Although I would always just buy fresh chicken and cook it. That way I get to be in charge of what herbs go on it and can vary it. Doesn't take long and it will happily sit for a few days in the fridge.

Unless you have an allergy to something listed, the ingredients are fine.

If you’re worried about the ingredients in frozen/prepared chicken, and assuming chicken is available where you are and isn’t subject to purchase limitations (both are an issue where I am), then buy fresh chicken, cook and cut it into strips yourself. That will (ordinarily in non-pandemic times) be much less expensive too.

Unless you are adverse to additives, it’s fine. Super easy to prepare boneless skinless chicken breasts, cheaper, and you control the herbs and/or spices. Watch on frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts though, they often have a sodium solution.

With the added water to increase the weight of the chicken you are being forced to pay for added water -- and added salt. Go for fresh chicken even if it costs more it actually probably costs less because you are not paying chicken prices for water.
