1900 calories

Hi everyone I'm 49 and I weight 321 my knees hurt so much from all this weight I'm coming back for the ten millionth time . MFP says to lose 1.5 lbs a week to have 1900 calories a day here's my stupid question if I follow this will.i lose weight ??

    If the information you've entered is accurate then you will lose weight eating 1900 cal a day :)

    At your weight, yes that'll work. As you get smaller your calorie requirement will drop. Example, my start weight was 275 and I lost all the way down to 185 eating 1500, before I stalled at that size. So try 1900 for a month and if you're not getting the results you want, drop it by another 100-200.

    as long as you are logging accurately, yes, you will lose weight. The best way to be sure that your logging is correct is to use a food scale to weigh everything; don't use measuring cups or spoons as they can be wildly inaccurate, and log everything that goes into your mouth.
