5:2 Diet

Did anyone try the 5:2 diet?

    There are people here who used it successfully.

    Give it a try. It's just a method of calorie management.

    I tried it and didn't like it. For me a daily small deficit is much better than trying a couple days of extreme deficit, but in this situation it really is personal preference and some people find it easier.

    Yeah, I'm a big fan. I fast once a week generally for maintenance/health purposes (6:1) but switch into 5:2 mode if I get a bit puffier than I'd like. Once you get used to it, it's pretty easy IMO.
    Been in this rhythm for maybe five years or so.
