Syrup of canned fruits. How to count that calories wise?

I guess this is a really stupid question but I'm curious. When I use canned fruits I always like to drink the syrup it comes in instead of throwing that away. Now I wonder: Is that syrup included in the calories chart? Let's say for example the fruit without it is 50kcal per 100 grams. The weight with syrup is 200 grams. Is it 100kcal then or?

It generally is counted in the nutrition facts unless the can refers to the serving size as "drained".

Edit: You can compare the weight of the whole can to the weight of each serving multiplied by total servings to confirm. I.e. if the can is 15oz, and there are 5 servings of 3oz each, it is counting the syrup.

Okay.. they didn't mention on the can that the serving size is that much calories when drained. They do mention how many grams it is with and without the syrup but they always do that.

Oh...are we in the same country? It might be different if you're not in the US. I forgot to ask.
